GeoDura Carbon Storage Hub
Carbonvert, Castex and Enbridge, together under the joint venture OnStream CO₂, are developing a 24,000 acre tract of pore space offshore near Cameron Parish, Louisiana for carbon storage. The GeoDura Carbon Storage Hub will permanently sequester captured CO₂ more than a mile beneath the ocean floor. Based on the region's advantageous subsurface geology, the project has a total storage capacity of more than two hundred and fifty million metric tons.
Leverage existing infrastructure:
Carbonvert, Castex and Enbridge are exploring opportunities to repurpose existing pipeline infrastructure to support project development.
